The Logistics Living Lab (LLL) at Leipzig University is the first of its kind in Germany and provides practical representation of complex supply chains. INCONTROL is proud that the team counts with its innovative projects on Enterprise Dynamics.
Mapping, analyzing and optimizing complex supply chains is a major challenge, which Logistics Living Lab manages by using Enterprise Dynamics. Thanks to the plain, user-friendly implementation, ED enables to quickly model and clearly illustrate high complex processes which lead to both rapid results and comprehensive analysis. All together this makes Enterprise Dynamics one of the most innovative software applications.
Funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the "InnoProfile transfer" program, the Logistics Living Lab consists of three areas: development, discovery and experimentation. In the creative lounge innovations are developed, the latest information systems and prototypes can be discovered in topic specific logistic-islands and in the work shop area different technologies and systems can be tested and compared in experiments. That makes it easy to implement the vision: systematically integrate different stakeholders and their requirements, needs and capabilities into a common research value chain within a realistic environment to shape innovation processes.
As a part of the project proposal "Logistics Service Engineering & Management" (LSEM) of the Institute of computer science, an overall solution approach for the added-value logistics shall be developed, which will serve to assist in planning, management, control and optimization decisions during the phases of the service lifecycle.
After a year of planning and implementation an ultra-modern innovation platform for logistics was created with the completion of LLL at Leipzig University.
INCONTROL wishes the whole team good luck with the projects in the Logistics Living Lab!
